Sometimes you need it to be a step forward
The best possible product is not always known by everybody and the potential client most of the time doesn't know that the right product to his needs exists. I-deal offers to help both foreign companies and Italian companies identify the material or the product, which sometimes is searched for the need to widen the range with products which do not need to be produced internally but which can be produced by others (at lower cost and higher competitiveness) and sold under the own corporate trademark. Internet is a good starting point, but it is not always offering the solution especially if you are looking at International products. Even if the Client is doing in depth research on the web he will not be satisfied by presentations only, but he will be willing to see the factory and or the products in person. Unfortunately such activity takes time and money. Not to mention that it is very burdensome to dedicate an internal human resource to source a product in Italy when you are in another part of the world. At the same time employ a new human resource could be useful today but could become a burden tomorrow. The method used by I-deal when a foreign Client is looking for an Italian product is to search for three Suppliers who can potentially satisfy the corporate needs, get the three offers and relative appointments for meetings with the Corporate Export Manager who can visit and check the best contact for his company. Another possible case is the ODM: the interested foreign company supplies I-deal with he drawing, who will be the acting part to get the accessory produced on specification.
